ABOUT US

Domestically, Hope & Promises has been involved in providing food, water and supplies through local outreaches and our local Food Pantry. Internationally, Hope & Promises has completed humanitarian works in El Salvador, Honduras, Uganda, Indonesia, India and Mexico.

In the middle of a global pandemic, Hope & Promises distributed over 465,000 pounds of food locally and internationally.

With the help of many volunteers and donors around the world, we served more than 130,000 families.

California → Los Angeles County

  • 58,643 families served at our local food bank

  • Thousands of toys collected for kids in the LA County Foster & Adoption Department 

    El Salvador → Soyapango, San Marcos, San Martín y Apopa, Santa Ana & San Salvador

  • Hundreds of thousands of families served through our international outreach

  • Provided diapers, wipes, food & feminine products to multiple prisons, where children are incarcerated with their mothers until the age of five


    México → Mexicali & Tijuana

  • Thousands of families served through our international outreach

  • Clothes, medicine & supplies donated to women & men’s rehabilitation centers

  • Hundreds of gifts donated to orphanages & to children of families living below the poverty level

  • Honduras → Comayagua

  • Tens of thousands of families served through our international outreach

  • Uganda → Fort Portal & Kampala

  • Built an orphanage and provided children & refugees with school supplies, resources, clothing & toys

  • India → Visakhapatnam & Chennai

  • Provided sewing machines to women rescued from sex trafficking as a means to earn a living & distributed supplies for hundreds of students

  • Dug water wells in remote villages lacking fresh water, distributed food & resources to the blind, people in leper colonies & colonies with people who are HIV+
